The A19 is part of a project to reinforce the northern Loiret centre and takes its place among the strategic projects for the development of the Parisian basin. The General Council will be the guarantor for the harmonious and appropriate territorial development of the existing employment basin. Lying less than 100 km south of Paris, it will be the 4th motorway ring around the capital, thus relieving the existing routes (bypass, A86 and the “Francilienne”) of a significant part of their traffic.
